Este año vamos a estudiar obras de importantes pintores británicos. Ángela, nuestra encantadora lectora, describió esta pintura de David Hockney en 1ºESO. Sin ver el cuadro y tan sólo a partir de sus descripciones, los alumnos tuvieron que imaginar la obra original y dibujarla. Es una actividad que ya hicimos a finales del curso pasado con unos resultados muy interesantes. Estos son algunos de los que guardan más parecido:

This year we are studying artworks by important British painters. Angela, our lovely language assistant, described first grade students this painting by David Hockney. Without looking at the original picture and just from her descriptions, students had to imagine and draw their own picture. We did a similar activity at the end of the last school year with pretty interesting results. These are some of the best works:

Finalmente, este estupendo dibujo de Puri Hernández. Como la mayoría de sus compañeros, Puri terminó el dibujo en casa, pero creo que acabó viendo algo más que una imagen mental :)

Finally, this great drawing by Puri Hernández. As most of her classmates, she finished it at home. I think she saw something more than a mental image, though :)
