WORLD WATER DAY

We were talking in Art class about the different kind of languages we already know. Then, we analysed the Visual Language which is that one related to images. It is really important to know its characteristics and rules because we live nowadays surrounded by images: advertising, billboards, on T.V., on the internet, in print media (magazines and newspapers) and even in our dreams. IMAGES ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!

We also saw the four main different types of images in an Olga's presentation: logotype, symbol, sign and pictogram.
As we develop an environmental project and will celebrate the WORLD WATER DAY after Easter holiday with a great exhibition, my dear students have become graphic designers and they have done these wonderful logos. Below you have two versions: the digital and the traditional ones. Very good job!!

¡Concurso de logotipos!

Estos son los 24 diseños que los alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato de Imagen y comunicación sugieren como logotipo para la coral del IES Mariano Baquero Goyanes. Ahora te toca a ti decidir cual de ellos será el ganador del concurso. La exposición está situada en el pasillo de entrada al instituto. Cada uno de ellos tiene un número adjudicado. Tras hacer la elección , has de dejar tu voto en la urna habilitada para tal fin en la biblioteca. Recuerda ¡sólo uno!

¡Date prisa! El plazo acaba el viernes 16 de diciembre. ¡Suerte y que gane el mejor!

These are the forty five designs made by Image and comunication students' for our choir. Now, you can decide which of them it will be the winner of the contest.The exshibition is set at the hall.
All of the designs have a number. Choose one of them, write the number on a piece of paper and leave your vote in the ballot box placed at the library.Remember, only one vote per person!
