VISITING THE FINE ART MUSEUM

On our way to the MUBAM, my First ESO A & B Students, Mª Isabel teacher and I had the chance to see the water level reached by the Segura River almost as high as the pavements.

Once we got the Museum, students divided themselves spontaneously into two groups: young ladies and boys. The girls started the guided visit with the Math teacher, Mª Isabel. The boys group and I waited for ten minutes and followed our great guide, a former student of our school (she said that Mariano Baquero is the best Secondary school in Murcia and we agreed!:). They all behaved pretty well asking and answaring interesting questions and showed lot of interest in knowing things related to Art. We really had a good morning!

Before visiting the Fine Arts Museum, first grade B students have created a mural on the wall of their classroom using post-its. The idea was to celebrate that especial day for americam people called Thanksgiving. Alison, our English language assistant, told guys about this day. Then, each student wrote what makes him/her happy. Most of the students love to be with their families. Friends and video games  are in second place.

Lo que Alison ha escrito. Nosotros también nos alegramos de tenerte aquí
What makes Alison happy. We love to be with you, too

We were on our way to the Art Fines Museum during the break. We enjoyed a wonderful tour thanks to the nice guides who explained us some paintings in a very didactic way. Students were also very participative this morning. They answered the questions and made other interesting ones about the artworks.
