CUT OUTS

Once upon a time, there was a French artist, HENRY MATISSE, who suffered a severe disease and couldn't paint anymore. Instead of giving up, he made up a new artistic technique to keep himself creative: the wonderful CUT OUTS. He said that it was like painting with scissors.
Inspired by this great artist, my First Digital Students are now working on a new installation, this time for their classroom. Using primary-colour-acetate sheets, they are drawing different compositions based on organic, natural shapes. The idea is to decorate the windows. It is not only an activity about colours and their mixtures, but also a contest. We all will choose the best design.
¡I'm looking forward to seeing those four windows of your clasroom on a sunny day when the sun goes through the glass flooding the place with lot of colours!

Just in case you fancy watching this video again!!
